Registration Process for 2024

Welcome to our 2024 Netball season at CCNA. Please read the following in registrations to our registration process as there has been some slight changes.

Terms and conditions:
1. Teams need to have the following, at least 9 players per team, one scorer and two umpires registered on their team sheet to be eligible to be in the competition. CCNA will inform you if your nominated umpire is already listed down as an umpire for another team and therefore you will need to listed another umpire. 
2. CCNA will top teams up with individual players to accommodate individual sign on players needing to be placed into a team. Due to the use of rolling subs in our competitions can have up to 10-12 players especially the younger teams. 
3. CCNA can regrade teams in any grade if n needed due to uncompetitive score lines 
4. Teams could be asked to change your team name if a team has already nominated the same name in any division.
5. Please refer to the divisions and ages (Date of Birth - Year) to register in the correct division. Divisions are based on the year players are born (as at Dec 31st), not the year level they are at school or the age they are at the time of the season. Teams can only have no more than 2 players 1 year old than the division in which they are nominating in their team. 
E.g 8x10 yr olds (born 2014) and 2x11yr olds (2013) = eligible to register in the Junior E. 
E.g 8x10 yr olds (born 2014), 1x11yr old (2013) and 1x12yr old (2012) = not eligible to register in Junior E will be registered in Junior D
6. All players who are filling in for other teams throughout the year need to be approved by CCNA prior to taking the court at the office. As a player cannot play/fill in for a team in the same division in which they are first registered and players can only play up for any team twice in total for that season. 
7. Players cannot take the court until their registration and insurance has been paid. 
8. Teams are to supply their own bibs - CCNA will only lend bibs out if teams have the same colour. 
9. Umpires must supply their own whistler or purchase one from the office due to health reasons.
10. Team training times need to be booked in - please email the association for 2-3 preferences of days and times. 
11. Nettas - is a replacement for Net Set Go this year, it is a 10 week program where players will receive a merchandise pack from CCNA (no NQ insurance levy) and will be on Monday afternoons. Pending numbers the times will be 5-7yr olds - 4pm-5pm

12. All divisions will be using the Live Scoring App for all scoring, no paper scoresheets will be used unless there is a problem with the App. 

How to register your team:
1. Complete the below team nomination form (excel spreadsheet)
2. All details including - Player details (DOB/Email/Contact number), Umpire, Scorer, Coach and Managers details need to be filled in correctly to be eligible to nominate. Scorer needs to be one person who will be at the majority of the games, if teams need to change their scorer for a game, they are to contact the office at least 20 minutes prior to the game for this to be re-signed. 
3. Once CCNA has verified your team sheet details, CCNA will email you to confirm your team nomination and will send the person who nominated the team instructions to invite your players to register into your team. CCNA will be using the Team Registration process as per 2023, however please wait until you have the confirmation email from CCNA before to log into Netball Connect to invite players to your team. This could take up to 3-7 days so please allow this time for CCNA to reply to your team nomination.
